GJHS LRC Mission Statement
It is the mission of Guthrie Junior High Library to be a resource for students by providing services and materials to foster student achievement.
GJHS LRC Vision Statement
The Guthrie Junior High Library is a safe and welcoming environment where students develop a love of reading and learning, enhance research skills, collaborate with peers, and strengthen their college and career readiness all while acquiring the skills to be life-long learners.
Procedures
Expectations:

4. Food and Drink are not permitted in the library
LRC Hours: M-F 8:05-3:20
Students may come to the Library between classes, during lunch or anytime their teacher allows them to come during class time.
Check-Out Policy
Student Checkout:
Students may check out 2 books at a time. Books are due back two weeks after the date checked out. Students may request holds on books and students may renew books multiple times as long as there are no other students requesting the book.
Lost, Damaged, Overdue Books:
Students are responsible for any book checked out in their name.
Overdue notices will be sent out bi-weekly, as needed.
Students accept responsibility for the cost of the book(s) that are damaged or lost. This includes, but is not limited to, liquid and physical damage that prevents further use of the book.
Overdue book(s) will not result in a monetary fine. However, books must be returned before another book can be checked out.

The Guthrie Junior High Library offers over 6,100 fiction and non-fiction titles for students and staff organized in a manner to meet the needs of all patrons.
