My name is Jamie Alexander, and this is my twenty fourth year of teaching. My husband and I have twin boys who are OSU graduates. We raise cattle and spend lots of time outdoors. All four of us love to hunt. I like to read, shoot my bow, hang out in the pool, and spend time with our family.
I am very proud to be an elementary teacher. I believe children should always be treated with kindness and respect as they are encouraged to learn new things. I treat my students with the same compassion I would want my own sons, nieces, and nephews to be treated with.
I believe reading is the most important skill children acquire in elementary school, and I am committed to helping my students become more confident readers. It is so rewarding to see them making progress throughout the year! We work hard each day, and I help my students track their progress, so they can see their own improvement. Parent involvement is so important to a child's success, and I am very excited to be working with you to help your child have a great year. Please contact me right away if you have any questions or concerns.
