Students must come to class every day prepared to work from bell to bell. I have a few extra supplies for students who may need assistance.
AP students should be prepared to have an assignment, to be completed outside of class, almost daily. Extensive reading and writing is involved in all AP classes. Access to the internet will be beneficial in completing outside work.

Students are not permitted to leave my room during the instructional period. Ample time is given between classes to use the restroom or get a drink of water.
My class is set in a collaborative learning environment. Students work in groups of three or four to maximize learning. Student groups are randomly assigned and will change every nine weeks.
Food of any kind, including candy or other items purchased at school are not permitted in my class. Students may bring a bottled drink into the room provided it has the lid and can be sealed to help prevent spills.
