This is Mrs. Johnston's fourth year to teach 5th grade at Guthrie Upper Elementary School. She has been "Ms. Stacey" for 30 years as a dance instructor in Guthrie, and a secretary at Cotteral. She is finally used to being called "Mrs. Johnston", loves spending time with her husband, Mr. Johnston (Jamie), her kids (Lauren, Brock, Brandon, Livi, Leia and Jayma), and still teaching a few dance classes a week.  Traveling is her favorite hobby, but she enjoys singing, a good joke, coffee and Diet Coke. She has a passion for public education, has been an advoocate for gifted and talented education, and accomplished one of her goals to help improve public education by completing her Masters in Educational Leadership at UCO last spring.
