Ms. Bandy

 Hello! My name is Ms. Bandy and I teach 6th grade Science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology from UCO. My original plan in life was to go to PA school, but I took a small break during which I started teaching and found out I LOVE IT!!! My goal as a teacher is to create a safe environment where students can learn through hands-on experiences. I strive to create a LOVE of science in my students so that they can grow up and fix the problems that our generation has created; discover new species; become engineers; or discover areas of Science they didn't even know existed! I love teaching Science and creating an excitement for science in my students!
      A little about myself: I have 4 people that call me Mom! Abigale has blessed me with 2 grandbabies named Cole and Mireen! Wyatt graduated from Guthrie. Forrest and Ethan both attend Guthrie Public Schools. I've lived in many amazing places: Alaska, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida. I'm obsessed with anything outdoors: camping, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, planting flowers and veggies, riding bikes. I also love to paint and make jewelry!
