My name is Sherryl Green, and I have been teaching for the Guthrie Public Schools, at Fogarty Elementary for 18 years.
I have one daughter, Kelsey who has given me a beautiful grandaughter and grandson. My grandchildren are the joy of my life! I love watching OUFootball on Saturdays and the Guthrie Bluejays on Friday nights!
I have my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Elementary Education. I received my Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education at UCO where I also became certified in Middle School English and Social Studies. I later became certified in Special Education for Mild/Moderate Disabilities and on the Oklahoma Registry for Autism and Other Health Impairments. I have been teaching elementary education since 1998. Three of those years I taught 5th grade in Texas, one year teaching 6th grade reading at GUES and six years teaching 2nd and 3rd grade children having learning and intellectual disabilities, where I had the opportunity to also be the Special Olympics Coach for Fogarty. This will be my 13th year teaching 2nd grade. I am excited to work with you and your child and will do everything I can to ensure your child's success.
